Neuroscience Research Center (NRC)

Neuroscience Research Center (NRC) came into operation at Shahid Beheshti Hospital Complex on October-November 2013. The Second approval of the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology of Qom University of Medical Sciences was issued on May-June 2016 and NRC continued its activity at Shahid Beheshti Hospital. It was officially approved on November-December 2017 by the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology and the definite approval of the operation of the center was obtained on December 2018.

NRC, as a center for development of Neurology and Neuroscience Research, aimed to conduct basic and clinical researches according to research standards, apply appropriate management, invite prominent professors for cooperation, build lasting relationship with other national and international universities active in the field of neurology and neuroscience.

This center is able to produce, distribute and promote knowledge among professors, students, graduate medical students and public, enhance diagnostic and treatment techniques, leading to the improvement of the health and quality of life in people as well as the innovations according to the needs of society.
